COVID19 has had made an unexpected impact on The Felines For Adoption Cat Rescue organization. Like many shelters and rescue organizations, we rely solely on the generosity of others who support our cause. Due to the catastrophic impact this pandemic has caused on all of us, our donations and adoptions are significantly low. We still have over 30 cats in our care who need food, litter, medicine and veterinary care. We cannot hold any public fundraisers due to the restrictions on public events. Therefore, we need your help! Please consider making a donation to our rescue organization. Your donation no matter how small, will help us to continue to care for the cats currently in our care.
Our goal is to rescue as many cats as we can from local animal shelters. We are a New Hope Partner with the NYC shelter system that has an extensively high intake of cats either found as strays or surrendered by their owner. This partnership allows us to pull the cats that are about to be euthanized due to treatable health conditions or cats that have spent an extended time in the shelter.
A few years ago our founder, Kate Lawrence, wanted to create a cattery to enable us to rescue more cats in need. She designed and built a cattery that allows our foster cats to live happily in a free roaming environment. Since then we have been able to save countless lives!

If you see one of our sweet cats that you may want to meet to possibly adopt, you will need to complete an adoption application. You can easily locate this by clicking the button below which can be printed or filled out online. Once we receive and review your application, we will contact you to set up a meet and greet with your potential purrbaby!
Your support and contributions will fund our mission. You can make a one time donation or an automatic monthly donation through pay pal.
